Shastri hails release of DA 8/20/2015 12:07:58 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 19: President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri has hailed the decision of the State Cabinet to release the much awaited and pending DA installment of 6% dearness allowance which was due to employees and pensioners from January last , and described it as a pro-employees gesture. Appreciating the decision Shastri thanked Chief Minister, his Cabinet colleagues particularly Finance Minister Haseed Drabu for releasing of latest DA installment. "Such efforts seem to be continuing under their able leadership. However the issue of regularization of 61 thousands daily rated workers is still pending for the last so many years" said Shastri and hoped that wage heads will be placed at disposal of departmental heads for release of long pending wages of such categories of daily rated workers who have assumed vital importance by risking their life on a daily basis to sun essential public services.
