Govt approves parking for 320 vehicles at Panjthirthi 8/20/2015 12:09:30 AM Early Times Reoprt Jammu, Aug 19: In order to de-congest the Jammu City against frequent Traffic Jams, Government has approved parking at Panjthrithi for parking of 300 to 320 vehicles. The land where parking was proposed to be constructed was encroached by some people and some shopkeepers. A joint driver was carried out by Jammu Municipal Corporation and Jammu Development Authority in these areas today to vacate the area, so that, parking site is made free from any encroachment. It was agreed upon that that shopkeepers 26 Nos whose shops shall be uprooted shall be settled in Khanpur Nagrota which is the JDA land and quite near the old city. The driver was carried out in very successful way by taking all the people as well as shopkeeper into confidence and there dismantled material of shops was disposed by way of engaging Municipal vehicles to their proper destination.
