NTEA, SKUAST-J regrets callous attitude of University Administration | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 19: Non Teaching Employees Association (NTEA) of the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (SKUAST- J) held a meeting of office bearers /executive members today under the chairmanship of B N Singh in the Conference Hall at Main Campus Chatha where it was decided to submit a fresh letter to the registry particularly registrar of SKUAST Jammu for redressal of their long pending demands within one week Time was given to the registry for fulfillment of long pending demands of the non-teaching employees vide NTEA letter No: NTEA/Presi/15-16/482-515 dated 10-08-2015. After the lapse of stipulated time nothing has been done in the favour of Non-Teaching Employees. It is pertinent to mention here that after the submission of charter of demands to the Vice Chancellor and threadbare deliberations with the Vice Chancellor and governing body of the University the necessary minutes of meeting were issued vide No: AUJ/Est/G-427(II)/14-15/9294-9337 dated 26-02-2015 by the registry. Despite that the administration has shown insensitiveness to mitigate the demands for almost last one year. The NTEA,SKUAST-J tried its best to resolve the issues amicably but there has been no response from registry. Besides, NTEA, SKUAST-J has decided to appeal to Governor (Chancellor of Universities) and Chief Minister (Pro-Chancellor of Universities) through the medium of Press to intervene in the matter to avoid any un-rest in the institution. Other members present in the meeting included Zamir-Ul:haq (General Secretary), K.D.Singh (Senior Vice:President , Rattan Lal ( Vice President), Vimal Singh (Secretary), Deepak Kumar (Organizing Secretary) Gursanjeevan Singh (Joint Secretary),Vijay Singh (Publicity Secretary), Manzoor Ahmed Khan (Joint Tresurer) and others. |
