APS Damana organizes prize distribution function 9/2/2015 11:04:14 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 2: APS Damana organized 'Prize Distribution Function, on culmination of Inter Army Public Schools (Cluster 1) Basketball Tournament at Chenab Brigade. Brig BS Bisht, Chairman APS Damana was the Chief Guest and Poonam Bisht, Chairperson FWO Chenab Brigade graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. APS Damana hosted the Basketball tournament which spanned from August 27 to September 2. Eight Army Public Schools of the Cluster participated in the event. All the teams played exuberantly. APS Kaluchak and APS Jammu Cantt made it to reach the finals resulting in the thumping victory of APS Kaluchak in boys' category. In the girls' category too, APS Kaluchak registered resounding victory against APS BD Bari. APS Damana emerged as third victorious team in both boys' and girls' categories. The Chief Guest inspired the students to develop the spirit of sportsmanship which would definitely be instrumental in shaping them as good students. He also appreciated the efforts of Dr Renu Gupta, Principal APS Damana, teachers and administration staff involved in the successful conduct of the event.
