NIA announces cash reward for info | Udhampur attack mastermind | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 2: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced cash award of Rs 10 lakhs for the master mind of the Udhampur attack, Abu Qasim the self-styled divisional commander of the terrorist outfit LeT. Posters announcing the reward have appeared across Kashmir. The NIA has also announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh two more Pakistani terrorists, Abu Okasa and Zargham who had crossed with the Naveed. The security agencies are putting their posters in the South Kashmir, where LeT has made strong presence and has radicliased the youth also. The agency has also made available the [email protected] for the people to send the information. NIA source said these terrorists may carry out more terrorist attacks. According to the NIA Abu Qasim, alias Abdur Rehman, is a resident of Bahawalpur in Pakistan. He is the "self-styled commander of the Lashkar-e-Toiba in South Kashmir and has a cash award of the Rs 10 lakh. Another terrorist Abu Okasa, 18 to 19 years old, is a resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. Zargham, alias Mohammad Bhai, a resident of Hazara ub Khyber. They had infiltrated from Kashmir in a group with Naved and Noman. It was for the first time any security agency has released the sketch of Zargham, who is believed to be a fidayeen. Though, till now 12 people involved in the terrorist attack have been arrested but these are the main accused and there are still at large. Source said the police and NIA is hopeful of catch them soon and they are getting definite inputs about them. |
