Jammu, Sept 5: To celebrate the Teachers’ Day " Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in coordination with Unison Cultural Troupe and Sangam Tru Art Production & ESRM presented its 66th Saturday Musical Play Series " Gurukul " at open Air theatre, Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu.
The musical play was written, produced and directed by M.L.Dogra, former regional director, song and drama division , Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ,Government of India and Music was composed by renowned Music Teacher Raju Bajgal.
The Program was inaugurated by V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director , Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India as the chief guest .He lauded the role of teachers & students and also necessity of education.
Magotra also underlined the importance of staging of such plays in all parts of the state to generate the awareness of culture of the country & urged the artistes / cultural organization to contribute in enriching the cultural heritage and inspiring the younger generation to follow foot prints of their elders in preserving the composite culture of the nation. |
