Kishtwar shaken by young driver's murder

Kishtwar, Sept 5: A 30 year old driver was today murdered in broad day light outside Casino restaurant on hospital road by his associate driver over a minor issue involving the timing for departure of the vehicle from Bus Stand, Kishtwar.
The incident took place at around 10.30 AM today when both accused as well as the victim had a meeting to settle out the issue of timing for the departure of the vehicles playing on Kishtwar-Hullar route resulted into the heated arguments between the two which ultimately led to the murder of a 30 year old driver identified by the police as Nisar Ahmed son of Shabir Ahmed Baghban resident of Hullar Kishtwar, while the alleged accuse was identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed son of Mehraj-ud-Din Mir also resident of Hullar Kishtwar.
As per case FIR No 152 U/S 302 RPC, the alleged accused Imtiyaz Ahmed used sharp edge weapon in executing the murder before he fled from the spot after committing the crime. The accused hit the victim forcefully with sharp edge weapon in his chest as a result of which the heart of the victim got involved and even though the victim tries his best to reach nearby District Hospital, but due to excessive bleeding the victim breath his last within 5 to 10 minutes after reaching in emergency ward of District Hospital Kishtwar.
As soon as the incident took place, it spread like a wild fire as a result of which large number of people started rushing towards District Hospital Kishtwar in shock. Senior Police Officers including SP Kishtwar Youghal Manhas, Additional SP Abdul Qayoom, Dy. SP DAR Sanjay Parihar, Dy. SP HQ Touseef Ahmed and SHO Police Station Kishtwar also rush to hospital and examine the dead body as well as the scene of crime. The dead body was later handed over to family members for burial after completion of all legal formalities including autopsy. The incident is first of its kind in last two decades where a board day light murder took place in ever busy area of Kishtwar town. After the possible reports of clashes between the two families, Kishtwar police has strengthened the security in Hullar village and has also release the photograph of murderer and seek public cooperation for his immediate arrest.
While talking to "Early Times" SP Kishtwar Youghal Manhas said that the preliminary investigation reveals that both had differences over the timing of departure of vehicles, added that however the exert reason behind the murder could only be ascertained at arrest of the accuse who escaped from the spot after committing the crime. He said that manhunt has launched to arrest the accused who is still evading arrest.
Meanwhile in another incident of stabbing that took place yesterday at Kuleed Chowk Kishtwar, Kishtwar police booked alleged accused 20 year Munna son of Ajeet Singh resident of Kuleed Kishtwar for attacking 21 year old Ankush Singh son of Gautam Singh with sharp edge weapon in his neck and arrested the accuse person within hours after he escaped from the spot. Ankush has reportedly received 17 stitches. It is pertinent that today's incident is the 3rd incident of stabbing in less than one month in Kishtwar . Earlier a 20 year old Arun Kumar son of Ashok Kumar resident Matta Kishtwar was stabbed by four accused on 16-08-2015 inside the Ghori Shanker Mandir Sarkoot. However Kishtwar police has registered an FIR against the accused persons, but no arrest has been made so far.
