| Army organizes 'medical cum veterinary' camp | | | Early Times Report
udhampur, Sept 5: A Medical cum Veterinary Camp was organised at Khangral village as part of Operation Sadbhavna under the aegis of Tiger Hill Brigade.
According to defence spokesperson, the locals brought their live stock in veterinary camp and the veterinary team from army examined 40 animals while 115 locals were examined by various health ailments by the army doctors. The Army Medical and Veterinary Teams from Achinathang (Batallik) and Kargil attended to the patients and also gave them medicines free of cost.
"Medical cum Veterinary Camp gave them an opportunity to be able to tend to their ailing family members as well as livestock to which they considered as their livelihood," spokesperson said. He said the camp witnessed overwhelming response from villagers who throng to camp from Khangral, Chiktan, Budhkharbu and adjoining villages. |
