JAMMU, Sept 06: The newly elected Secretary of the State Sports Council, Javed Shah is desirous of the upliftment of sports as well as the promotion of the sports in Jammu.
Shah during his visit to different sports stadiums as well as mini stadiums accepted the long pending demands of the staff of the autonomous sports body and gave assurance while interacting with the managerial and other staff of the Council.
"He also assured decentralization of power for quick decision making and implementation at the ground level," informed general secretary of the J&K State Sports Council Coaches Association, Satish Gupta.
Not only this , the sources also said that the engineering wing of the Sports Council was asked by the Secretary to complete the pending projects, especially those within the Jammu city in order to give benefit of the facilities.
One of the player expecting the promotion of the sports infrastructure of Jammu said that the desirousness of the Secretary can be well gauged owing to his visits to all the stadiums in Jammu as well as far residing areas.
A female player also shared that the demands of infrastructure necessary for girls players are also expected to fulfiled soon. She also said that the girl players are feeling blissful by the desirousness of the Secretary Sports Council. |
