SRINAGAR, Sept 06: Jammu and Kashmir Police (J&K Police) today qualified for the Group-B of the ongoing Football League Championship, organised by J&K Football Association (JKFA), here.
In today's encounter, J&K Police defeated Maharaja Sports 3-1. J&K Police took the first lead in the first third minute of the game through Sandeep. The lead was equalised by Maharaja Sports in the 33rd minute on a penalty.
However, the J&K Police again went ahead when Tanveer netted the ball in the 45th minute. The lead was further improved by the departmental team striking in the 75th minute. Yaseen scored the third goal for the team to guide the team to next round of the competition.
FIXTURE: Maharaja Sports shall take on J&K SRTC XI at 5 pm on September eight. |
