AIJMS holds meeting | | | ET Report
Jammu, Sept 6: All India Jat Maha Sabha (AIJMS), Man Mohan Singh Choudhary today held a meeting of his team after visiting Indo-Pak border Areas along LoC and International border (IB) and took stock of the situation arisen due to the unprovoked firing from the Pak side. According to press release, Choudhary discussed the misery of the people occurred due to Pak firing and Govt.'s false pretenses. He said that various governments came to power after 1947 in the Centre and State but the plight of border people remained the same both on LoC and IB. He stressed upon the Union government immediately allot 5 Marla land to the border people as promised by the incumbent government forthwith to avoid daily loss of live. The border people are facing war like situation and are being killed by Pak shelling so they should be given compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the decesead' family. "The injured should be treated either in Army Hospitals or should be given reimbursement of amount of treatment they actually incur in best hospitals where they go under treatment after injury", he said. He also appealed the Jat Biradari that they should also come out with open mind to help such victims to save them from death as per their will and should not become mere spectators. He appreciated the biradari members who donated money for the treatment of victims but more money is required for his treatment to save him. |
