Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 6: The Jammu Students Morcha (JSM) has accused the Chancellor office of shielding the teachers, Former VC and officers of the University of Jammu (JU) who plundered the resources of the University and committed bungling.
Vikram Kumar State President JSM, said, "Chancellor had ordered inquiry into the financial bungling held in the University. The four-member enquiry committee headed by the former Chief Secretary started the enquiry in the month of June last two year. The report was submitted to the then Pro-Chancellor and the Chancellor in the month of December 2012. Since then no action has been taken on the report".
He further said that Chancellor was trying to shield the corrupt officials, Former VC and teachers of the University whose name figured in the enquiry report that's why no action has been taken on the report so far.
He said two years have passed since the submission of enquiry report but it seems that the blue eyed corrupt officials have prevailed upon the Chancellor Office owing to which the guilty are being spared. Kumar said the student community has anger against the Chancellor for not taking appropriate action.
The University resources were misused at will but, still the higher ups are not interested in punishing the guilty people, it's a sorry state of affairs. He demanded from the Chancellor to make the enquiry committee report public within days otherwise JSM would launch agitation in this regard. Among those who were present in the press-conference included Rajkamal, Rohit Gupta, Amit Gupta and Sahil kumar.
