KPC hails Court decision on ban of beef in State | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 11: KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri today hailed the decision of High court on ban of sale of beef in Jammu and Kashmir. According to press release, Kundan said that the Hindus, in particular Kashmiri Pandits, had always opposed to the killing of bovine animals like cows in the state and have been vigorously pursuing its ban on many quarters. Mother cow is building force of Indian nation as well worshiped by Hindus too. The ban on the sale of beef in Jammu and Kashmir is only the reiteration of an over 150-year-old law, when RPC was enacted in 1862 by the then Dogra maharaja of the state in this regard. He hoped judiciary as well as Government at state and centre would not succumb under the pressure of fundamentalist Muslims, stone Pelters and traitors and honor this historical decision of J&K High court. Let Hindu forces of state and others together resist the pressure of Muslim fundamentalists and separatists and not allow to get this court decision changed or revoked. |
