| CUJ organizes lecture on "Leadership through Emotional Intelligence" | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 11: Central University of Jammu's (CUJ) Central Placement Cell held a lecture on "Leadership through Emotional Intelligence".
Raj Nehru, Associate Director-HR, Concentrix, the resource person for the session, delivered the lecture in an interactive session.
Nehru with over 20 years of work experience has played a key role in HR transformation, Corporate Social responsibility and Change management at IBM and other leading corporate houses. Raj has been recently appointed by Governor of Haryana as the Director on the Board of Directors for Haryana Electronics Corporation Ltd. He is also on the Board of Governing Council of IILM Management Institute & Global Village Foundation.
Nehru in his interactive session focused on building and anticipating skills that contribute towards an individual's overall success. He also discussed the concept of leading the transformation. Raj differentiated Human Resource development strategies and initiatives that are required to be successful. He emphasized on the importance of strengthened leadership for managerial effectiveness.
Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, CUJ takes a keen interest for the overall development of the students and this session was organized as an initiative of the Central University of Jammu to develop behavioural skills amongst students for getting placed in organizations. Earlier Prof. Deepak Raj Gupta, Convener, Central Placement Cell welcomed the audience by emphasizing on the role of skill development in developing good managers. |
