| Family stages protest after woman dies of alleged medico negligence | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Sept 11: Following death of a woman purportedly due to alleged negligence of doctors at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), Jammu, the family members and relatives today staged protest demonstration seeking justice.
Police sources said the deceased identified as Anita wife of Madan Lal resident of Pargwal was shifted to GMC&H Jammu for specialized treatment for her grievous injuries after she fell from height few days earlier. Protesting relatives and family members of the deceased alleged that she died only due to negligence of doctors as she only suffered some injuries in her back bone. Soon after the death of woman, the family members gathered outside the hospital and started raising slogans against doctors of GMC&H Jammu alleging negligence of treatment to deceased and demanded justice and action against the guilty doctors. After getting the information, police immediately reached the spot and pacified the protestors assuring them justice. It was the police intervention following which the protestors lifted their protest |
