Gangster duo involved in stabbing, shootout case arrested from West Bengal | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 11: In a major breakthrough, Vijaypur police have arrested two criminals, hunting other two who escaped after stabbing and firing, whereas police refute the reports of arrest, sources said. Meanwhile police have denied any such handing over of criminals by West Bengal Police. The sources said that four criminals were involved in crime, in which they stabbed and fired on one Narinder Singh alias Vicky son of Pritam Singh at Dati Mandir, Raya Morh, Vijaypur on 27/07/2015 and escaped from the spot leaving the victim in pool of blood. "Out of four, the Vijaypur police have arrested two gangsters who have been identified as Raghubir Singh alias Dana S/o Parshotam Singh of Chorli, Bishnah and Raj s/o Balbir Singh of R S Pura", sources said further adding that all the criminals after committing the crime managed to escape from the spot and out of four two were nabbed by the West Bengal police on 19/08/2015 after they were found roaming under suspicious conditions. "While investigating, West Bengal police came to know that they are on run and wanted by J&K police and handed them to the J&K police on 04/09/2015, sources said. Sources also claimed that earlier they were locked in Vijaypur police station and later shifted to Police Station Ramgarh. They said the accused were wanted by Vijaypur police under FIR No 47/2015 under sections 307, 341, 382, 147 and & 4/25, 3/25 Arms Act. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba Joginder Kumar when contacted briefly denied the reports of handing over of any criminal by the West Bengal Police. |
