Jammu, Sept 11: A seminar on "Drug abuse & the role of society in its eradication" was organized at MV International School. The program was organised jointly by People's Forum for Human Values & MV International School. The focus of this event in the school was to sensitize students about drug addiction and about the negative consequences of drug addiction.
Sheetal Nanda DC Samba; Joginder Singh SSP Samba ;S. S. Sambyal, SDPO Vijaypur; Rajnesh Gupta SDM Vijaypur & Karan Singh, Rtd. Lt Col., President People's Forum for Human Values were present in the event. Students from various schools of Samba district namely Govt. Higher secondary school Vijaypur ,Jakh, Uttarvani , Arvind Ghosh school and M.V International School participated and presented thought provoking facts about Drug abuse and also discussed issues related to addiction ,effects of drugs preventive measure and most important the role of parents, teachers ,Principal's ,friends in eradication of drugs from the society. |
