Sarpanch booked for assaulting Tehsildar 9/11/2015 11:32:58 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 11: Police today have booked some persons including Sarpanch of Jasore in R S PUra of Jammu district for allegedly assaulting ssaulting/ threatening/creating nuisance in Public work and obstructing Public servant from discharge lawful duties. Police said that police P/S Miran Sahib registered against a case against Sarpanch Jasore namely Koushal Kumar Sharma S/O Dev Anand R/O Jasore and others for creating nuisance in Public work and obstructing Public servant from discharge lawful duties. "There was an anti encroachment drive at village Jasore Miran Sahib Jammu and Tehsildar R S Pura, BDO R S Pura and SHO Miran Sahib was on spot when Sarpanch along with some local goons created nuisance and threatened the administration for performing their legal duties, police said. Police spokesperson said that a case under FIR No 146/2015 u/s 341/353/186/147/ 504/ 506/ RPC stands registered at P/S Miran Sahib against Sarpanch Jasore Koushal Kumar Sharma and others for assaulting, creating nuisance in Public work and obstructing Public servant from discharge lawful duties.Meanwhile police said that accused Sarpanch along with associates is absconding till last report came in and manhunt is on to apprehend them.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
