| Protest held against ARTO Udhampur for inadequate transportation | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 11: The people of Jaganoo staged protest against ARTO Udhampur for not providing adequate matador on Jangoo to Udhampur route.
The protestors led by Shankar Singh ,Kewal Krishan (panch) Anil Kumar Gupta, Anil Kumar, Ghanshyam Rattan Lal (Naib Sarpanch) alleged that they have been discriminated and ignored by the ARTO and the administration. They said that they have been given just two matadors (minibus) from Jagnoo to Udhampur which leave out so early in the morning and after that the Matardor stand remains in dark and it just works for the bikers and small cars turning areas and they have to wait for hours to wait for the mini bus which come from other destinations , the matadors have been directed to Udhampur to Talmada and from Talmada to Udhampur so the overloading of the passengers being made by the matadors and school going students have to sit on the roofs of the mini buses and sometimes they are forced to hang on the back grills of the matadors. The main market and important village has been completely ignored, they added. |
