| SEOF urges education deptt. to implement orders strictly | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Sept 11: School Education Officers Forum President Amar Nath Thakur today has urged school education department to strictly implement orders that to provide fair and speedy justice to the teaching community and to avoid litigations. He further said that if a government employee knowingly has purchased the fake degree without following the due procedure he or she must be demoted but other genuine degrees should not be considered as fake and forged. "All degrees acquired through distance mode from outside the state universities are not fake", he said. Same can be the case of other distance modes Universities. All such university authorities must be investigated through SIT headed by sitting Judge of high court to punish the culprits. State government must constitute expert departmental committees to verify genuiness of degrees, diplomas and certificates of all employees of all departments of the state to curb this menace and to provide Justice to genuine degree holder employees. He Urged Commissioner Secretary school Education to implement SRO 481 of 2010 dt.30.12.2010 in letter and spirit to regularize all incharge officers/Lectures of the department to provide speedy justice to them. The Government should expedite the process of regularization of all incharge officers/lecturers to provide justice to all well in time and also to retire/expire officers. |
