Early Times Report srinagar, Sept 11: Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A. S. Brar today emphasized that the performance of the faculty members working in higher educational institutions, particularly the Universities, across the country, should be evaluated thoroughly every year. "Those who have performed excellent should be rewarded suitably while the poor performers should be served the memo, asking them to improve or suffer," Prof. A. S. Brar said while delivering the presidential address during the inaugural day of the two day seminar on "Quality Concerns in Higher Education," organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and School of Education, of the Central University of Kashmir (CUK), in collaboration with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore at Nowgam academic block. Central University of Jammu, Head and Dean Department of Educational Studies, Prof. Lokesh Verma, Dean and Head School of Education, CUK, Prof. N A Nadeem, Registrar, Prof. M Afzal Zargar, Controller of Examinations/ I/c Finance Officer, Dr. Nazir Ahmad Gilkar, Deans of other Schools, Heads/Coordinators of other departments, faculty members of the University and other educational institutions were also present on the occasion. |
