PDP-BJP adopting discriminatory attitude towards Billawar segment: Dr Manohar | | | Early Times Report billawar, Sept 11: Alleging discrimination with Billawer segment, Senior Congress Leader, Former Minister and General Secretary JKPCC Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today criticized the discriminatory approach of present coalition government particularly with people of Billawar for each and every decision taken by the present regime. Expressing concerns over the recent visit of CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for announcing the establishment of second Tourism Development Authority and Nursing Collage at Basohli during inaugural function of Model Higher Secondary School Basohli, Congress leader said establishment of Model High Secondary School at Basohli is good step but there is already Navodaya Vidyala existing adjoining to the higher secondary school at Basohli. He also pointed out that tourism development authority in Basohli in the name of Lakhanpur - Basohli - Sarthal Tourism Development Authority is already functional but it is very unfortunate that second Tourism Development Authority too was announced for Basohli by the Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed in presence of Dy CM Dr Nirmal Singh. "Instead of announcing second authority in Basohli the second such authority should have been established for Billawar to make an equal development of region explore the potential of religious tourism already exist in Billawar particularly Shri Sukrala Mata JI and Shri Bala Sundri Mata and historic Shiv Mandir of Billawar town, he said. 'It could have been a wise in real sense if it will be established in the Billawar district, he said. "The people of Billawar are forced to draw conclusions that the Bhartiya Janta Party and its leadership has allegedly hatched the conspiracy to snatch the justified rights of the Billawar people and is intentionally ignoring the assembly segment, he added. Dr Sharma warned state government and Bhartiya Janta Party to refrain from such unjustified decisions otherwise the people of Billawar will forced to launch a massive agitation against the state government. |
