Thief held with stolen gold jewelry 9/11/2015 11:50:39 PM Early Times Report kathua, Sept 11: Kathua Police today claimed to have arrested a thief and recovered stolen golden ornaments weighing over 3 tolas from his possession. Police have ascertained the identity of thief as Atul Vaid alias Chita of Nagri, Kathua. Police spokesman said that the accused was wanted in a case under FIR No. 271/2015 under sections 457 and 380 of RPC registered at Kathua police. The arrest and recovery was made by in-charge police Post Nagri, SI Bimal Indu, under the supervision of SP Kathua Neeva Jain. Police said that on his disclosure, golden ornaments weighing 3.5 Tolas including one Mangal Sutra, one Ring and one set ear tops have been recovered from his possession.
