AJKAOW hails release of final seniority list 9/14/2015 10:07:10 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 14: All Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Officers Welfare Forum (AJKAOW) wholeheartedly welcomed the publication of much awaited Final Seniority List of Agriculture Extension Officers & Equivalents up to 18.10.1988 by the Agriculture Production Department. The streamlining of seniority list is the basic requirement for conduct of DPC of the Agriculture Officers of all levels pending for last three decades. AJKAOWF on behalf of all Agriculture fraternity expresses gratitude to Agriculture Minister Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura and Commissioner/Secretary Agriculture Mohammad Ashraf Bukhari, IAS for this endeavor and hoped that the derailed system of promotions in Agriculture will be put on track once again. With these orders the senior most officers of the Department are expected to get their due promotions at fag end of their service career. How-ever, the two orders confirm the seniority status of only miniscule number of officers' leaving majority of others after 18-10-1988 in agony once again. AJKAOWF is spearheading its fight for justice to end the 'Pick n Choose Policy' in absence of a settled seniority and appeals to administration at the helm of affairs to settle seniority issue of all its officers once for all up to the last batch.
