Jammu, Sept 14: The Central Government Pensioners' Welfare Association, J&K, Jammu launched its website here today for quick dissemination of important central government orders and other related information.
At a simple but well attended function, the website was jointly launched by B K Raina, vice-president and K B Jandial, executive member of the association. It can be accessed at http://www.cgpwajk.in and central government pensioners including those who are not its member, can take benefit from this highly informative website which provides link to Portal of Government of India, DOPPW, Bharat Pensioners Samaj, J&K GAD and Income Tax.
Explaining the objective of this initiative, the General Secretary of the Association, JK Vaid said it provides a meaningful interface with the pensioners with the click of the mouse can now access all relevant Govt. orders and other instructions relating to pension. He highlighted the salient features of the website and illustrated how different Circulars/Orders uploaded over the website could help the stake holders in getting latest orders of Central Govt. He lauded Jandial for his initiative in this matter, arranging competent resource for speedy development of website and its launch today.
All the important information regarding history of Association, constitution, its activities, important orders and circulars issued by the Central Government from time to time, Central Government Employee Health Scheme , particulars of members of Association from different services, contact details of executive members of association, etc. have been put on the website. On the suggestion of members, Vaid said the website will also get a separate link for feedback by members. All the members present on the occasion were exhorted to develop keen interest in IT techniques so as to get full benefit from the information being made available on the website.
The logo of the website pictorially represents all the three distinct regions of the State, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The activities of the Association including of Srinagar branch will be uploaded regularly. |
