Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 14: In a case of protection of Kashmiri migrants' property, high court judge Janak Raj Kotwal has directed district magistrate (DM) of Anantnag to appear in person on the next date of hearing.
The court directive came in a petition filed by Madan Lal Bhat and others, seeking direction to the Anatnag DM to implement the provisions of J&K Migrant Act and protect and preserve their property by evicting the private respondent from there. When the matter came up for hearing today, the AAG, appearing for the state, sought time.
Justice Kotwal, after going through the case, granted two weeks time to file response/compliance report failing which the court directed the district magistrate to appear in person on next date of hearing.
