DC Rajouri withholds pay of 4 teachers | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Sept 14 Deputy Commissioner Rajouri vide his office order NoPS/DDCR/ 2015/100 dt 14/9/15 has stopped the salary of 4 teachers of a middle school while Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) has charge-sheeted 15 employees including two officers and has sought their explanations for remaining on unauthorized absence from their duties during working hours. At about 9.30 am a Village Education Committee (VEC) member Abdul Rashid informed Shabir Ahmed Bhat, Deputy Commissioner on phone about the unauthorized absent of 4 teachers at middle school at Madhar and only in-charge ,Mohammad Amin was present in the school. This was also confirmed to DC by Mohammad Amin teacher in-charge of the school. On the confirmation of Mohd Amin, Deuty Commissioner directed Sukhpal Singh, SDM , Kotranka to stop with immediate effect the salaries of the erring teachers namely Sumesh Dev Singh, Mohsin Shawl, Mohammad Azaz and Shakira Shaheen and conduct inquiry in this matter and submit the report within a week time. Meanwhile in a surprise visits to various government offices between 8 am and 9.30 am , Mohammad Mumtaz Ali , Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) found 15 employees including district officer on unauthorized absent from their duties. All the employees have been charge-sheeted by the ADC and has directed the concerned heads of the departments to seek their explanation and furnish the details along with their comments for further egal action under rules/regulations. During his surprise visit ADC found many employees on unauthorized absent including Project Officer , ICDP and In-charge Pollution Control Board. "Before taking further action all the employees have been charge-sheeted and directed to explain their position," said ADC. |
