2 alleged drug peddlers get bail 9/14/2015 11:10:08 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 14: 2nd additional session judge M K Sharma today granted bail to two alleged drug peddlers who were arrested by Akhnoor police for the offence punishable under section 8/21/22 of NDPS Act. According to the police case, the accused were apprehended along with 42 banned capsules and 10 tablets. It was alleged in their bail application that police had framed them in a false case. After hearing both the sides and going through the FSL report, the judge observed that the case does not fall in the category where embargo of section 37 of NDPS Act would apply and the bar contain in sec. 37 of NDPS Act is not applicable and the bail application of petitioners is governed by section 497 of CrPC and the application for bail is allowed (JNF)   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
