Early Times Report Kishtwar, Sept 14: Several political, non-political and social organizations today have expressed grief and shock over the death of seven persons in Padder road accident that took place in Gulabgarh of Kishtwar District on Sunday evening. Among prominent who have extended their heartfelt sympathies with bereaved families included MoS R&B and MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma, MLC Firdous Tak, Former Minister and Vice President JKPCC Ghulam Mohammad Saroori (MLA Inderwal), former MoS Home and MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in road accident and termed it as irreparable loss which cannot be compensated at all. Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families, the leaders also prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls, besides praying to 'Almighty' to give strength and courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. Meanwhile MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori reiterated that it is dire need for the Police, Transport department and the other concerned agencies to take all requisite measures promptly to check fatal road accidents in the hilly terrains of erstwhile district Doda and also appealed to Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Mohammed Sayeed for immediate release of the ex-gratia relief in favour of next kin of the deceased. Among others who expressed grief over Padder road tragedy were Ghulam Haider Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Mahinder Singh Parihar, Piyaray Lal Shan, Mohammad Aslam Malik, Khursheed Ahmed Bhat, Ravi Kumar, Mohammad Aslam Saroori, Mohammad Iqbal Keen, Randeep Bhandari (local Congress leaders), Wasil Doolwal, Rashid Lone, Ishtak Waza, Umar Malik, Akthar Munshi, Sheikh Nasir Hussain (PDP leaders), Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo, Shabir Ahmed Kamal, Imtiyaz Zarger, Rajinder Sen, Raju Sen, Sheikh Faizullah (NC leaders), Anil Parihar, Syed Shan (BJP leaders) and social activists namely Shakir Siddiqui, Raiz Ahmed Zarger and Abdul Majed Bichoo. Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar today released an amount of Rs 35000 out of Red Cross funds to be distributed among kins of seven accident victims for performing their last rites. |
