MGNREGA employees highlight grievances 9/14/2015 11:41:43 PM Early Times Report DODA, Sept 14: A meeting of employees working under MGNREGA was held today to discuss the issues confronting them. The meeting was held under the presidentship of Ashiq Hussain District President of the union. During the meeting, the employees said that they were engaged in this flagship scheme some eight years ago. Since then they are working in the RDD department and perform other duties such as TSC survey, election duty etc. from time to time. Despite all this they are being paid meagre salary and thus feeling humiliated in the society. They are not able to make both the ends meet. They alleged that government is not keen to enhance their wages.
