Early Times Report Udhampur, Sept 14: In a unique example members of NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do (JAJD) irrespective of caste or religion today staged protest against the hate campaign launched by some anti national elements who are creating disturbances by opposing the High Court order in regard to implantation of ban on beef in the state. Led by President of JAJD -Tariq Shah, the volunteers irrespective of their caste and religion gathered near the Bus Stand Udhampur and then protested against the unlawful activities of all such anti national elements for showing disrespect to the Judiciary by opposing its decision. Speaking on this occasion president of NGO Tariq Shah said , "We have protested against all such elements who disturb the entire peace of the state by disrespecting the judiciary. "We welcome the judiciary's decision of carrying on ban on beef. The order of High Court must be respected and implemented, Shah said. "Although the beef is already banned in the state and this is the fresh order released in this context. It must be respected. We all have full faith in the judiciary, he said adding, "those who are opposing the court order must be punished under the law of land." "It becomes more necessary when the decision is associated with some religious sentiments, he said. "They (some anti social elements) are hell bent to disturb entire peace as well as to alienate youth from mainstream, he said and added, "we appeal law enforcing agencies that such decision from judiciary must be strictly implemented." Coordinator JAJD Aftab Bali, Baldev, Sanjay, Vijay, Sahil, Tarun, Rahul, Krishna, Ankur Sanson and Ajay Singh also addressed the gathering during protest at Bus Stand. |
