Symposium on "Relivance of Gandhian Philosophy in modern times" organized 9/28/2015 10:42:48 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 28: Gandhian Study Centre of GGM Science College, today organized a symposium on "Relivance of Gandhian Philosophy in Modern Times" as a part of a series of such activities that shall be taken up to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti. The symposium provided a platform to the iginited minds of the college to express themselves uninhibited. Principal of the College, Dr. Ajeet Angral presided over the function. Convenor of the Gandhian Study Centre, Dr. Shama Vohra introduced the theme of the symposium to the audiance. A total of nine (09) students presented their views relevant to the theme. Consequent upon their assessment by the jury comprising Dr.Prafulit Bambroo, Dr. Mohinder Singh and Dr. Sushma Mam, Kunal (Sem-III) , Prateek (Sem-I) and Ravinder (Sem-III) were adjudged 1st , IInd & IIIrd respectively. Dr. Angral, Nodal Principal, expressed his contentment and happiness over the confidence exuded by the students and hoped that they shall open up more in subsequent activities to be taken up in the future by the Gandhian Centre. All members of Gandhian Study Centre including Dr. Anuradha Pandoh, Dr. Neeti Chibber, Dr. Puja Nanda, Dr. Chetna Gupta, Prof. Preeti Gupta were present on the occassion.
