JTC resolves to work for welfare of KPs 9/28/2015 10:42:54 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 28: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee was held here at Jagti Nagrota under the Chairmanship of Piaray Lal Thusoo, Chairman of the Committee. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members of the Committee. A large number of inmates of Jagti Camp joined the Jagti Tenement Committee and Committee has been extended from Block No.1 Jagti to Block No.174 of Jagti (Tail end of the Camp) giving therein due representation to each and every segment of the Camp. While addressing the participants, Shadi Lal Pandita, said that this committee is committed to welfare and upliftment of the Community and we have to work effectively to achieve our desired goal and in this connection demanded that Government representatives shall bring the members of Jagti Tenement Committee in confidence by having a dialogue with the committee members for betterment and rehabilitation of the community as a whole. Pandita said that during past 26 years of migration the Community members have lived in Tents, and now in ORTs but in miserable conditions lacking all basic amenities which has put our lives at stake.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
