Submit suggestions on improving security in court premises: HC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28: The J&K High Court has directed former president Bar Association Jammu, Sunil Sethi, to come up with suggestions regarding tackling security concerns and other infrastructure related requirements in the court premises. Hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by the Bar Association Jammu seeking better infrastructure facilities and foolproof security arrangements in the court premises, a division bench comprising Justice Hasnain Massodi and Justice BS Walia directed senior Advocate Sethi to come up with the suggestions in order to address the genuine concern of lawyers. Since Chief Engineer was not present in the court as per previous directions issued by the court, the bench further observed that his absence was justified on the ground that he was to attend a meeting at Srinagar and directed him to appear in person on October 5. |
