JKPS Kunjwani conducts I-Spear workshop | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28 : International Society for Pre-Primary Education and Research (I-SPEAR) held workshop at Nelsum Exquisite Millennium Hall in JK Public School, Kunjwani in which 20 reputed pre-primary and CBSE schools participated. This workshop was for the faculty to enhance the competence and confidence of teachers in implementing modern techniques in their profession and for overall development of pre-school children in particular. The programme started with the lighting of lamp which was followed by the welcome speech delivered by Brig. Sukhdev Singh, Secretary I-SPEAR. S K Singh, Senior Advisor /Convener I-SPEAR, gave an informative power point presentation focusing on the motor skills development of small children. He urged the teachers present for the workshop to focus on learning by doing. Dr Chand Trehan, Psychologist, who is also the mentor & psychological consultant I-SPEAR, spoke on the occasion highlighting the different methodology to be adopted while framing the curriculum for pre-school students. The workshop was really appreciated as it was very informative, interactive and helped the teachers to develop a keen sense of working with the toddlers. There was a demand of holding such workshops more frequently in future. |
