Sham Lal accuses BJP of sabotaging Jammu's peace, secular traditions 9/28/2015 11:59:47 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 28: Launching a scathing attack on the ruling PDP-BJP coalition government, Sr. Vice President JKPCC & Former Minister, Sham Lal Sharma on Monday said that the political environment in Jammu and Kashmir was never as frightening as it under the present regime of the opportunists. Sharma questioned the BJP and PDP coalition which has dragged the state and its people to 16th century as exposed by their two days blanket ban on all kinds of internet services not only in Valley but in Jammu too, thereby forcing all trade, essential services and students along with common man to horrible isolation from rest of the world. "The BJP has stabbed the people of Jammu from back and violated the peoples mandate to join government in J&K. The people of Jammu region had voted for BJP under the misguided notion that it will hold its ground firmly and would act as a watchdog of Jammu's genuine interest", said Sham Lal Sharma and added that the BJP will have to pay through its nose for anti-Jammu and anti-national policies. "The people of Jammu Province did not vote for the BJP to get a shabby treatment" Sharma further said adding that this is so called pro-national and pro -Jammu party has relegated them to background. The manner, in which it transferred the sanctioned AIIMS for Jammu to Kashmir valley, imposed Jazia on lakhs of pilgrims visiting holy shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi from within and outside the state. Made Urdu compulsory for Naib Tehsildar tests, sacrificed additional advocate general and deputy Advocate General from Jammu which has exposed the BJP, he said and asserted that no government in the state has ever insulted the people of Jammu Province so brazenly to remain in power. Sharma lambasted senior BJP leader and Dy. Chief Minister for his false claims that the coalition government would implement ban on cow slaughter and beef eating with full force and said that the deputy chief minister and other BJP leaders must tender unconditional apologyfor hurting the sentiments of people of the state. people of Jammu will not forgive the BJP for the dirty politics it has been playing in the state , he said and added that the Congress will discharge its duties as an opposition party to safeguard the interest of all the sections of the society with causing and harm to anyone of the .
