GSTWA criticizes govt for ignoring community members in Welfare Board 9/29/2015 12:01:57 AM Early Times Report Bhaderwah, Sept 29: Gaddi and Sippi Tribe Welfare Association has condemned decision of state government for ignoring community members in the Board constituted for welfare of STs. According to press release, president of Association Perveen Jaryal said that the present government has also continued with the same step- mother treatment to Gaddi community like its predecessors. "Till date no Gaddi member has been included in the tribal development board in Jammu and Kashmir", he said. The members who are dominating the tribal development board are mainly from Gujjar and Bakarwal community, infact in Jammu region scheduled tribe status to Gujjar, Bakkarwal, Gaddi and Sippi community were awarded in the same year vide the constitution (scheduled tribe) order (Amendment) Act 1991.
