PCJ in collaboration with AOL organizes Yoga camp | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28: PCJ in collaboration with AOL organized four days yoga camp for journalists. According to press release, the AOL which has been promoting art and culture through its various events rejuvenated the monotonous life of the Journalists who got a new distressed and detoxinated life during the four day happiness programme (Yoga camp) organized by Press Club of Jammu (PCJ) in collaboration with AOL. The four-day camp celebrated the coming together of spirituality and yoga which itself was a unique expression for the participants who appreciated the initiative undertaken by the Press Club of Jammu and experts from AOL. The participants (journalists) from every generation who were a part of the camp believed that the course not only enhanced their creativity but also felt their scattered energy got channelized. 'Yoga' teaches the way, to attain cherished happiness. I myself extend my gratitude on behalf of participants to 'Art of Living' which extended effective yoga programme, to uplift our people through an unusual combination of gentle and vigorous 'asanas' (body postures) with equal emphasis on nurturing the mind and spirit, said President Press Club Jammu Ashwani Kumar Zorawer Singh Jamwal, Secretary General Press Club Jammu said, "Yoga touches all spheres of life - physical, mental and spiritual. He thanked AOL state media coordinator Ajay Kapoor and Vikram Jain for organising happiness camp for Journalists. "Everyone has different needs from yoga-fitness, relaxation, health, etc. Now that urban India has similarly complex lifestyles, yoga seems to have the answers," said Rajan Salalia and Prabha Salathia senior faculty from AOL. The camp was coordinated by Dinesh Mahajan, Sr. Journalist and executive member, Press Club of Jammu. |
