Zulifkar disengages 6 daily wagers for unauthorised absence | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Sept 30: During a surprise visit to district hospital and Government Gujjar and Bakerwal girls hostel in late evening on Tuesday, Ch Zulfkar Ali, Minister for CAPD and Tribal Affairs disengaged 6 daily wagers found unauthorizedly absent. The minister also suspended one nursing orderly at district hospital for dereliction of duty. The Minister was in the town for the last two days and after several complaints of mismanagement and in order to review the functioning of Gujjar & Bakerbal hostel he paid surprise visit and found 6 employees out of 11 posted at this hospital absent. The Tribal Affairs Minister, Ch Zulfkar also interacted with the inmates who informed him about satisfactory basic facilities available in the new building in comparison to the old building. He also directed the hostel warden to provide every possible facility to the inmates. Pertinently the hostel was shifted recently to new location from Rajouri town to a building in its vicinity. Later Minister paid surprise visit to District Hospital and interacted with the patients/attendants and enquired about the medical facilities provided to them. The Minister found that some patients were not provided blankets and were shivering. On enquiry it was found that they don't carry the identity cards hence they were not issued the blankets. Pertinently after several complaints of missing of blankets from the wards the issuing authorities have decided to issue blankets against surrendering the identity card of the beneficiary to avoid further missing of the blankets. Minister took the matter seriously and order suspension of Bal Krishan , NO ( responsible for issuing blankets), He also interacted with the hospital staff and Dr Anies, Medical Superintendent and directed them to provide quality medical care to the patients. |
