Now, Health Minister hurls unhealthy remarks at NC leadership | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 30: Health Minister is in news again after he used abusive language against opposition National conference (NC) leadership over the beef ban issue. During an interaction with media persons here, when Health Minister was asked about the Bill submitted by NC seeking annulment of the beef ban law, he heaped abuses against the NC leadership. "Don't ask rubbish things," he said, and went on to use abusive words for the NC leaders. "They are talking rubbish because they are sitting idle now," he said. This is not the first time that Health Minister has landed himself in a controversy. Immediately after he took over as the Health Minister in March this year, a lady doctor filed a complaint against him and accused him of mental harassment amounting to outraging modesty. Recently another woman doctor alleged that Health Minister misbehaved with her for not wearing apron during an official function and filed a complaint against him. However the complaint was rejected by the police for unknown reasons. He was in news yet again when he entered the I.C.U unit in Children's Hospital Srinagar without wearing a mask and without putting off his shoes. Also recently, a photograph of Health Minister touching the collar of a young lady doctor in Jammu had gone viral on social networking sites. He is also blamed for not responding to calls of journalists in a dignified manner whenever they contact him for his comment over stories related to his department. Meanwhile, lashing out at Health Minister for using abusive language against NC leadership, party's additional general secretary, Dr Mustafa Kamaal termed him a "morally illiterate person." "Political parties in opposition in every country are considered as soul of democracy, but when you have morally illiterate people like him who does not leave anybody without abusing, you cannot educate such people," Kamaal told Early Times. Health Minister did not return repeated calls from Early Times for his comment. |
