ITI/CP workers stage protest against non-payment of wages 10/1/2015 12:06:25 AM Early Times Report KATHUA, Sept 30: Alleging misappropriation of funds meant for distribution of wages to hundreds of ITI/ CP Workers of Kathua district, the ITI/ CP Workers staged a protest demonstration in front of the office of XEn PHE Kathua. The agitating workers under the leadership of Chandan Singh President All J&K ITI/CP Workers' Association Kathua unit alleged that the funds meant for distribution were swindled. While interacting to media, Chandan Singh said ITI/CP workers staged one day's protest to express resentment against injustice done to the daily wagers. He said the wages released for workers being utilized by the XEn Civil PHE for blue eyed to get their favor. Singh said funds released by Chief Engineer Jammu under major head 2215 under sub-head 363 out sourcing for the year 2015-16 amounting Rs 8.78 lakh for the first quarter vide order no. 1142-74 dt 14th of July 2015 for the 65 numbers of workers but ITI workers get only one month's wages whereas remaining two months misused with malafide intentions.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
