SCLU extends support, urges to fill up vacancies in PF Offices Jammu | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Oct 13: State Central Labour Union (SCLU), Jammu & Kashmir extended support to the grievances raised by the employees of the Contributory Provident Fund Office and urged to fill up vacant vacancies in Provident Fund Offices in Jammu province. President Nar Singh said that Government had opened offices in districts for better services to its subscribers, but required manpower was not provided in these district offices and present number of staff is unable to provide timely settlement of cases and workers/subscribers as they are facing too much hardship due to heavy workload. He further demanded that DPC to be conducted at the earliest so that deserving employees may get their due promotions and in the same time also appealed to the Govt. to consider their genuine grievances at an earliest in large interest of poor subscribers those have urgent need of money by withdrawal and advances. It is pertinent to mention here that one man is working on more than two designations such as PF Inspectors are holding the charge of Assistant Provident Commissioner which has created anarchy. The vacant posts should be filled at the earliest for the best services to the subscribers. In case of failure the poor workers will be bound to come on road for their grievances. |
