| Sunny Baba case: Head Constable under scanner | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 13: Police have started questioning of a Head Constable after his role came under scanner for his alleged involvement in managing the escape of Sumit Choudhary, alias Sunny Baba from GMC here.
However, police have also started scrutinizing banks accounts of some of the persons to check the transaction which could be done on the behalf of Sunny Baba to help him flee.
If sources are to believed role of Head Constable is also under scanner as he allegedly went home after some arguments with Sunny Baba on the night when he escaped from GMC without informing Police Post GMC. Sources further alleged that it could be his attempt to lower the security of Sunny Baba.
This morning the head constable was called for questioning again, however, senior police officers remained tight lipped over the issue.
Pertinently, Sumit Choudhary, alias Sunny Baba along with a paramedic had managed to escape from the police custody from GMC here. He was later re-arrested from Pathankote. |
