| 14 injured as Army vehicle rolls down | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Nov 18: Fourteen persons got injured when an Army Vehicle of 8 RR rolled down into gorge on National Highway at Jalabi Morh near Kud in Udhampur District. Police have registered a case and started investigations in this regard.
According to the police sources, an Army Vehicle on its way from Kashmir to Jammu met with an accident when driver of vehicle lost the control over the vehicle resulting it to roll down into a gorge at Jalabi Morh in Kud on National Highway.
On receiving the information, the Kud police, army and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. The injured were shifted immediately to Command Hospital Udhampur.
Police sources have identified the injured as Chowhan (28) s/o Chunna Singh, Sumesh Mon (24) s/o Arjun Pillai, Mahaiv Appa (32) s/o Shiv Appa, Puran Chand (30) s/o Bama Ram, Lakhvinder Singh (23) s/o Shanker Singh, Ram Luma (27) s/o Mohinder Singh, Bikram Singh (23) s/o Jasbir Singh , Manjunlha (23) s/o Vasaray appa, Parkash (33) s/o Sunder Murlli, Sunil Manhas (28) s/o Parkash Ram, Siyith (32) s/o Narajan, Anujsh Arhi (32) s/o Sharhi Dhar and Amarjeet (33) s/o Hari Ram.
Meanhile Kud Police have registered a case and started investigations in this regard. |
