| GLDM Degree College organizes symposium on 'Swachh Bharat' | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Nov 18: In order to create awareness among the students about cleanliness and healthy life style, Girdari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College, Hiranagar organised a symposium on the topic "Swachh Bharat" here today.
Principal of the college, Dr. Naresh Kumar Gupta was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The college staff and large number of students were present on the occasion.
While addressing the students, Dr. Naresh Kumar Gupta highlighted the importance of cleanliness and urged the students to spread awareness among their respective community members about the importance of Swachh Bharat and its benefits.
In the symposium, Ist Prize was shared by Ms. Priyanka Verma and Arjun Sharma of BA Part-III, 2nd Prize was shared by Priya Sharma and Shilpa Mehra of BA Part-III and the 3rd prize was bagged by Ms. Meenu Sharma of Sem-I.
The programme was organized under the supervision of NSS Programme Officer Prof. Vijay Kumar Chandan. The programme compere was Prof. Rakesh Sharma
The formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Monika Sharma. |
