| DYSSO organizes inter district women tournament | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 18: District Youth Services and Sports office (DYSSO) Rajouri under the aegis of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS),Jammu, has organised a state level inter district tournament for women at Rajouri.
According to press release, 225 women players from twelve districts of the State are taking parts in the tournament to clinch the trophies in Kabaddi and Volleyball competitions.
Ayaz Khan, District Youth Services & Sports Officer said that the tournament is being played on league-cum-knock out basis.
In Kabaddi competition today district Budgam team defeated district Ramban team by 4 points, Reasi beat Poonch district tewam by 29 points district Doda beat Samba district team while Rajouri district team beatKistwar team by 19 points.
In quarter final matches for Volleyball competition Srinagar team beat Doda district team, Ganderbal district team defeated Kishtwar team, Reasi team beat Budgam team and Rajouri emerged winner after defeating Poonch district team.
All the matches were convened by Zonal Physical Education Officer and officiated by the Physical education Masters & Teachers. |
