| Newly elected BOD of Citizen's Coop bank resumes office at Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 18: Board of Directors of The Citizens' Coop. Bank Ltd. Jammu under the leadership of Dinesh Gupta, Chairman resumed the office today in presence of a number of Share Holders, Depositors and staff of the Bank.
The Board of Directors said that the cooperative movement is people movement and its management is to be rest within the hands of democratically elected members. They added that Board always believes in democratic set up and even the present Board was elected with the majority support and blessings of its share holders. They shared that the BOD had already written to the Registrar Coop Societies, J&K for conducting fresh elections as the Board completely believes in democratic set up for the smooth functioning of the Bank. They laid stress on strengthening the cooperative movement in the State which is people's movement. They exhorted upon the staff of the bank to work with full zeal so that the position of this Bank is improved.
Board of Directors appealed all the members, depositors and customers of the Bank to transact all their business with The Citizens' Cooperative Bank as the Bank is the largest and older urban Cooperative bank in the State. |
