Jammu, Nov 28: Ramisht College of Education Basohli (RCEB) today organized a symposium on "Consequences of Global Warming"in college premises.
According to press release, nearly twenty five students of the college took part in the symposium. While expressing their views on the topic they said that 'Global Warming' was posing a serious threat to human society or mankind. This is not the grave threat for the one nation but for the whole world.
They emphasized that global warming is leading to very serious consequences. They said that due to global warming glaciers are melting, ozone layer is depleting , level of sea water is rising , cropping pattern is changing etc all these effects are responsible for human health degradation and causing many serious diseases like skin cancer, blindness, chest problems etc. They emphasized that deforestation, increase in pollution, increase in industries , increase in population are mainly responsible for global warming. |
