| Woman killed in road accident, man found dead | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 29: A woman was knocked to death when the scooty she was riding on collided with a truck at Bari Brahmana area while a helper with a truck was found dead mysteriously in a truck from Nagrota area in separate incidents.
The deceased has been identified as Roma Jamwal (35) wife of Gulab Singh of Birpur Bari Brahmana.
Police said that Roma was riding her scooty and while reaching near Bari Brahmana the scooty was collided with a truck resulting severe injuries to her.
After getting the information police immediately reached the spot and shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where she was declared as brought dead.
Meanwhile, a man identified as Jagtar Mashi (40) son of Seen Mashi of Lehar Pind Dhariwal Gurdaspur was found dead mysteriously from his own truck at Nagrota. He was helper with the truck. After getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted him to GMC&H where he was pronounced as dead.
Police have registered both the cases at concerned police stations and started investigation in this regard. |
