Residents flayed closure of '06 decades old vaccination centre' 12/22/2015 9:56:14 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 22: Residents of Pacca Danga have expressed resentment and flayed the closure of 60 years old vaccination centre (Dispensary) at Municipal Park Pacca Danga by the Municipal authorities. A delegation led by Rajinder Sethi, Varinder Joshi, Dr Gourang Sharma, Dhruv Rattan Shobati, Sahil Chada, Nanu Gandotra, Pushan, Tej Krishan Raina and Subash Kohli approached Early Times and alleged that instead of promoting vaccination centre (Dispensary), the officials from concerned department closed the Dispensary due to which the people of the area are subjected to deprive from the free treatment. They further alleged that the dispensary was catering to a large number of poor and other residents of the adjoin area daily but the municipal authorities has closed down the same without taking into account various difficulties being faced by poor people. They also alleged despite deputation of locals also had met with Joint Commissioner JMC and made a fervent appeal to him to continue dispensary opened for the welfare of the people but after some days, the officials closed the dispensary.
